The 2019 rowing season is fast approaching and I’m delighted to have been asked back for a subsequent year as a member of the World Rowing communications team.
The season marks the halfway point in the olympiad, and therefore the penultimate year leading up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
My role
I’ll be part of the media and communications team. I’ll be operating social media streams, updating the live blog, photography, graphic design and interviewing podium athletes for the World Rowing Website and twitter stream.
Events
This year I’ll be attending seven events including World Cups, European Championships, Junior Championships and culminating in the World Championships in October. Each event is held in a different country from USA, Tokyo and finishing in Austria for the World Championships. The first event will be in May.
